HTM-panel tests the tram of the future

HTM-panel tests the tram of the future

On November 22 and 23, several participants had the opportunity to view and test the model of the new HTM tram TINA. The outcomes of this, combined with the results from the voting wall, observations from public days, and the meeting with the Voorall Foundation, will be used to make some adjustments to the tram before it goes into production.

Positive feedback
Almost everyone finds the tram spacious and bright. The large windows are appreciated, and the additional space is noticeable. Its appearance is also considered modern and refreshing. The USB chargers are convenient and useful. Many visitors also find the Escher-inspired drawings inside the tram quite enjoyable.

Public recommendations
The seats and backrests could be slightly more comfortable according to the participants. There is also ongoing consideration regarding the shape of various poles and the slopes inside the tram.

Ultimately, there is a comprehensive report with various wishes and comments from the participants. Everything will be thoroughly discussed with the manufacturer. Where possible, adjustments will be made, which will be visible when the first TINA starts operating in 2026 in the Hague.
