HTM-panel 2019

The end of the year is a good time to look back. A lot has been achieved within the HTM panel. Improvements include the new HTMpanel.nl website, and the option to complete questionnaires using the HTMapp. We are also sending you newsletters more frequently. The HTM-panel now has 1953 participants; an increase of 600 participants in 2019. We are extremely happy about that! Many of you have shared your experience travelling with HTM. We have by now received 3,900 journey evaluations, and the year has not even ended.

In 2019, 81% of panel members gave us a 7 or higher as the overall evaluation of the journey. That is almost the same as 2018. You are most satisfied with the ease of buying tickets/passes and topping up the balance. The feeling of safety also scores highly. You are least satisfied about the journey information in the event of delays. We recently asked you questions about this, so that HTM can continue improving in this regard.

You score the HTM-panel a 7.5

In September, we asked you for your opinion about participating in the HTM-panel. 36% scores the HTM-panel a 7.5. You participate because you would like your opinion to be heard, and because you want to influence HTM policy.

The prizes that HTM raffles are rated an 8.1. The newsletters receive a score of 7.6. Not everyone knows that the newsletters exist. This is why next year we are offering you a chance to go back to the newsletters that were published previously.

Despite the score of 7.5, you are least satisfied with the content and completeness of the journey-evaluation questionnaire. We would like to continue working with you in 2020 in order to make participating in the HTM-panel as pleasant, easy and worthwhile as possible.

Radiotram

Every Friday between 6 September and 26 November, the radio programme 'Studio Haagsche Bluf' from Omroep West was broadcast live between 16:00 and 19:00 from an HTM tram. The programme focuses on local and general news and sports, and on these Fridays the broadcast zoomed in on an HTM-related subject. On Friday 18 October, a number of participants in the HTM-panel had the opportunity to travel on the Radiotram on tram route 2. Some of them could even be heard live on the radio.

Bus driving lessons for HTM panel members were a great success

In September, members of the HTM panel were able to enter a draw once again for a bus driving lesson. 23 November was the big day. Seven participants with guests were given the opportunity to drive an HTM bus, supervised by an instructor. They could also take a look behind the scenes at HTM, including the Bijsturing (Adjustment) department. Just like previous years, the day was a great success.

Compliment: "The last time I had travelled by tram was quite a long time ago. I think it's really great that you can finally top up the OV-chipkaart on the tram. Fantastic!"
