Travelling responsibly together on public transport

“You can take it off on the beach.”

Now that public transport is again available for an outing, HTM is asking everyone who travels by bus or tram to keep to the arrangements. This means having a valid ticket, wearing a face mask if you are aged 13 or over, and giving each other space. We constantly clean our trams and buses thoroughly, including the stop/door buttons and rails. The seats on our buses and trams are fully available, but please give everyone space even if you have to stand.

HTM arranges for the best possible distribution of passengers. And we are certainly making progress. For example, we have put the idea of a crowding indicator to our passengers. A crowding indicator can help you choose the best possible time for your journey. The idea got 8.2 out of 10 from the respondents. We are now investigating how such a crowding indicator could work in practice.
